Blue Goose Bistro was established in 2008 by Craig and Rhonda Sparks.  As the former owners of Say Cheese Food N’ Fun that closed its doors in March 2008 due to the reconstruction of Bellevue Center Mall, Craig and Rhonda re-opened this casual, full-service, neighborhood bistro in the River Plantation Condominium community.  Boasting casual comfort, the Blue Goose Bistro features modest prices, a menu with acclaimed classics (requested en masse by our loyal following) as well as refreshing menu changes, homemade desserts, a selection of stress-free take away food, full-service catering and accommodations for private parties.  Neighbors and friends come to relax along the windows, visit on the patio under the shade of a large oak tree, and peruse the variety of wares, accessories and antiques.

The cooks are impassioned by the love of good food and heirloom recipes therefore the menu may change from time to time.  Our Nightly Homemade Specials are offered in addition to regular menu selections, usually featuring meats and vegetables that can be enjoyed either in the cozy atmosphere or taken away for a trouble-free dinner or lunch at home.

The name, Blue Goose Bistro, is an inspiration of affection and dedication to Rhonda’s parents whose home was abound with love then and forever on, and sharing meals together was and remains a family tradition.  Little did Bob & Mary know back in June 1952 that their first home place together in a small west Tennessee town called Blue Goose would lay the foundation for this neighborhood bistro that lives at a little corner of Bellevue in the western side of Nashville, TN.  We have a sign in our "Goose's Nook" that says "All because two people fell in love..."  We think that sign perfectly describes how all this got started.  So now you know... It's not about a Goose...  It's about a Place!  And two people there who fell in love...
